I like the dark background used on this design. It's not straight out black and it has a slight gradient. The lines add to this layout and help highlight it's overall simplicity while not making the elements redundant in any way.

I'm a big fan of the "single-page" design when it can be pulled off well. Much like this example, pretty simple, to-the-point but the overall look is elegant enough.

This is a very well done website. From the background to the footer everything is well done. I love the fact that the designer has brought in the look of "real-world" effects in the Polaroid looking photo treatments to the torn paper edge. The footer is also a really nice ...

This website is quite different from everything we've seen before. From the "recent work" links to the way the navigation is handled. It's simple but it's so different. I really like this design.
