armeau2 is simple in essence but it is its bold use of imagery that makes it as different as it is. Upon initial inspection it cries out to you with its bright and various colors which not only look good as an accent of the page; but are sewn into the design and still manage to keep the design clean and uncluttered.
The use of the oversized header allows it to get creative with its navigation by implementing a large vertical menu which is quite different from what a lot of us are accustomed to seeing. It is the use of the traits that we typically do not see that makes this design as unique as it is.
Excellent colours - reminds me of colours from packets of chalk at school.
Simple but effective design. I’m not sure about the vertical menu though. Hard to read sideways.
Personally my favorite part is the vertical menu…so fresh in its difference.

Yes ! I acknowledge, I was inspired by seventytwo since i really love this website ! But i only copy the menu on the right !

Fresh, interesting use of colors. It is readable as well.
