Alright, another [tag]Website Design Company[/tag] today, this one d.onestudio from [tag]Brazil[/tag]. This site didn’t score quite well enough in TU/TD to move into the Gallery, but I’m including it anyway for two reasons.

First, I think it’s close enough that I’d like to get some conversation going to help them know what needs to be tweaked. I, for example, think the lack of whitespace around the content is jarring. With everything else so nicely polished, the copy looks really jammed in there.

Second, I’m going to try something new: foregoing TU/TD in favor of letting your comments decide whether a site stays in the Gallery or not. I’ll take the star rating into account a little bit, but much more weight will be given to actual opinions that are expressed. So if you have an opinion, don’t just rate the site, let us know why you rated it like you did.

Only comment I’ll make (since the whitespace issue was posted above) is the broken layout when you increase the font size in the browser.

The green border around the logo looks poorly done especially where it curves down into the content. There is a general inattention to typographic detail, whitespace issues primary among them, that make the site non-gallery worthy.

I visit this gallery for inspiration and if a site doesn’t pass the TU/TD section I don’t think it should make it here. Only the best of the best should be here.

Jeff, thank you for your very good comments. I’m uncertain about just how well TU/TD worked, so I’m trying something a little different now just to see. I’ll yank this one if it doesn’t score highly enough, as I have others in the past. Sometimes I’m just wrong about one, and I’m fine with taking them out once everyone has had a chance for a look and comment.

As one of the owners of d.onestudio website, I believe I could thank you for the opportunity of making it through the way up the gallery.
I’m taking all considerations seriously here, and will study better ways to accomplish a better result.
It was our first “innovative” job, we did try to make it as greatest as we could, but I think we’re on the right way, at least!

Thanks again for those who commented here and for Unmatched Style that gave us this chance!

We would love to hear any opinions about our site! Feel free to send us any comments you want!
