I love this site, there’s just an explosion of colors and stuff to get you looking everywhere. It’s perfect for a portfolio site, it’s fun and explorative feeling. The use of @font-face here is pretty cool too.

I love the soft feel of this design with the hard grid backed up by the gridlines in the background image. The colors are also really nice too. The type is also handled nicely, especially below the three main images in the slideshow. I do feel like the navigation isn’t as strong as it could be, but it does work well within the confines of this design, I say that without any real constructive feedback other than my gut feeling so take that as you will. Overall though, I do like the way this site is put together visually, really nice.

I like the shapes that the logo an right hand sidbar elements are placed on, it’s a nice contrast to the background (almost underwater feel?). The large icons for the calendar and gazette and stuff are also nicely done.

Really well done website. I love the style of this company, humor and a cool sense of what’s trendy. They’ve taken a lot of the expected typical web design firm website elements and turned them on their head just enough to feel different. I think that’s what i’m really liking most about this site design.

I love the little HTML easter egg too.

This is a really interesting looking design. It’s definitely a non-traditional layout. I really love a lot of the details like the way the portfolio pieces are showcased in the small wide graphic shape and the icons and things used for each section of copy. I also really love the way the background image down in the footer is treated too, that’s just neat looking.

I love the chunky feeling of this site design. The three columns that make up the most of the page layout being broken in the top-most part of the site using that large type also gives it a unique feel. The use of black and white and sparing colors to focus you on specific parts of the page is also really smartly done. The sub pages are also very nice, they are all very much the same but very different at the same time. Lots of nice detail with just mostly text utilized, I love it.

I love the graphic elements in the header and footer, those look so great. I also love the fact that the background isn’t just a flat dark color, it has texture and the color radiates out of the middle of the page. The site map collapsable div is also a nice touch too.

I like the big image followed below by the nice grid layout, very nice. I also like the hierarchy in type sizes going from left to right. The Twitter pie chart is also smart looking. There’s lots of little ideas and gems of layout throughout this website, dig in and take a looksee.

Man I love this website, it’s all but just made of type. I love the little details here and there with the on-state of the navigation and the icons. The navigation in the bottom of the pages that take you on a linear voyage through the site like a slideshow is a really neat idea too. I think this type of layout could have easily been made into a single page javascripty slider type website and I just love how it’s not (not that that’s bad by default or anything), it’s simple execution with some really great design. Love it!

What a great state gov website design. It’s got a large chunk of flash in the home page but it’s not too obtrusive and winds up being quite helpful navigation wise. Overall it’s loaded with content on the homepage like sites like this normally are but it’s very well organized and content is compartmentalized like it should be.

The main navigation slides out to become a mega-dropdown of sorts, I think it could really be overwhelming but also quite useful since it’s the website’s content that’s overwhelming after all.
