Filene Research Institute
Congratulations to friend of the site, Brent Trabian, for another site well done. Credit union sites are probably some of the last sites you’d expect to be designed well, but Brent has carved out quite a niche for himself.

Shane thanks so much for featuring Filene’s site. It was a really exciting project for us all to work on. Filene is a think tank for the financial sector, focusing specifically on credit unions but tossing around open source ideas that definitely apply elsewhere.
We were especially pumped about their willingness to embrace the blog format. It’s been an uphill battle selling blogging to some of our clients, but Filene’s business is innovation, so they were ready to innovate.
I’m looking forward to any comments you guys might have about the site. Thanks very much.
