Grove Website Design
![]()
Grove Website Design sports a very small, smooth and minimal design. When thinking of a grove you might be led to think of foliage and trees. Well you have the trees in the header, however it is the colors selection for this design that give off the feel for leaves and moss.
The code is clean and organized. My only gripe with the code and methods used would be the JavaScript rollover navigation. It’s not a critical miss, but had it used a CSS Image replacement and hovering method as opposed to a JavaScript technique this site would have been virtually perfect in my books. Despite that Grove Website Design still showcases excellent use of CSS and a keen eye for great design.

Usually don’t comment - or vote. But this time I did, because CSS is - as mentioned - replaced by Javascript and images for headlines.
I don’t think it belongs in a CSS gallery as a showcase. Even though it’s a beautiful site.
I agree with the above comment, nice design…. but not implemented well. code wise.
I agree, the markup is very poor as well. Nice design but the code could use a big change.
This design is seriously sweet, I especially like the attention to detail such as the foreground tree in the masthead being layed over the nav. Very good work, the code might be a little out-dated but the design makes up for it.
I like the main navigation menu. Hate the URLs. Overall, good.
Cheers for the post, and the comments. Am pretty new to this CSS lark, come from a design background, so if the codes not up to scratch i will endeavour to improve! Thanks again.
i like the soft feel of this website. i think you need a more inspirational photo of a forest. the current one just isnt as glorious and magnificent as it could be. also—i noticed some funkyness going on with the widths of the forms fields in your contact section. i think they should all be aligned at the right side.
I like the sits that make good use of the content vertically and horizontaly centered. Nice clean layout too. I jusged it an 8. It serves it’s purpose.
Very bad…
Code is very rough, the bg image is one big image. Whats the use?
I have been coming here to view more new nice designs but this eye-sore is taking up space

Yeah, right now it’s pretty much div soup, and quite a few of the tags are unnecessary. With that said, the site is pretty, and well laid out. As Kev said, he’s new to CSS and comes from graphic design, so that’s quite understandable.
Good job.
Congrats on making a site that looks good and hold up to text resizing. I think I would make the default text site a bit bigger, but even as it is the site is nice.
Very clean and simpel. Like the way the design floats together.. But maybe a little bigger font size.
But nice work
Love the way you use the wood-graphic.
Clean and nice webdesign.
I like!
love it, stuning and simple, easy on the eyes.
nice and clean CSS design. thumbs up
I love the tree in the foreground. It kinda jump right out in my face and makes this design stand out. Cute!
Nice design - I like the green colors, it’s fresh :-)
