Hopking Design

Founded by Mez Hopking, Hopking Design is a Website Design Company based in Bournemouth, England. What I like most about this site is that it conveyed to me exactly what their “About Us” actually says without me ever having to read it:
Our philosophy is simple, we want you to enjoy the experience of working with us, so we will make every effort to make the process as clear and transparent as possible. We won’t bombard you with jargon and technical terms, it’s in both our interests that we understand and relate to each other. If you’re not happy, just let us know and we’ll make every effort to make it work.
That’s exactly what I gathered from just the design itself — very simple, very clean, very stylish.
If you increase font size iz FF text falls out of the background.
the design is alright, nothing new… the code is somewhat bad though, padding should replace
Cheers for that trevor, completely forgot I had a few littering the code. Will remedy that asap.

the only things that bother me are the heavily saturated dropshadows.
Beautifully clean, refreshing, stylish and sophisticated site. I love it.
I’m not sure about the typography, too much going on; also I feel that the curved boxes and the square navigation create an unbalance. BTW there’s a typo on Contact.

It’s a beautiful site, but one bump up of text in firefox and the text leaps out of the backgrounds which are statically sized and not expandable.
Un-acceptable even by my mediocre-barbaric design standards… IT should take at least two bump-ups and still be fine, after the third bump all bet’s are off.
Build a better rounded-corner box is what I’m saying!
Refreshing and clear design. Definitely of high calibre. My only hangup is that I felt the colours of the masthead could have been stronger. Nevertheless great example of CSS design.
Hi Mez, I want to report a small issue. If you have javascript disabled, stylesheet is not loaded, since you do this with javascript.
Why not use an unobtrusive method ? By this, I mean using PHP for example, to load the screen stylesheet if javascript is disabled.
But this is my opinion.
