IKONIK

What I like:

Like the header for the page, and the image based section header they look really good. Colors are very nice and neutral, they fit a summer motif, which here in Ohio I am starting to wish we had more of.

What I dislike:

Looks like crap in IE because the sidebar clears where it shouldn’t, and the author obvious has some issues with IE (who doesn’t?), so that’s not that bad. But the background image renders correctly in IE and not Firefox.

  1. I decided, for this version, to scrap IE and develop with proper standards compliant browsers in mind. I included a Firefox button for an easy migration for IE users too. To be honest less than 20% of my visitors use IE - those aren’t even regular-ish - so I’m not that concerned.

The background however works in both IE and Firefox, so I do not know where you go that from.

Apart from that, thanks for the entry. You’re doing a top job.

  2. The issue I am suffering is Firefox 0.9.3 and Windows. It is the return of the body {height: 100%;} bug.

  3. Ah, I see now. I think another re-design may be in order because I’m fed up to the core with making this one work. The number of hacks that have come and gone is astounding. Thanks for the heads-up.
