Joyent

Joyent is the creator of some fine Web-apps, and soon to be desktop apps as well (they’re working on the ability to sync their Web-apps with a local copy on your desktop computer). Noice! Their website was just recently redesigned and it has a variety of templates for each page (click on the apps on the way top to see what I mean). It’s really a well put together site.
The colors and the imagery are great. They’re subtly amusing and don’t interfere with the design (unless you stare at them for too long). Each page has a different image up top that helps to (literally) illustrate the page’s purpose. The artwork is beginning to be a trend in websites; let’s hope it doesn’t become overdone in the coming months.
My favorite part though has to be the finer details of the site. If I were another button, I would consider a monogamous relationship with their ‘Get Connected’ button. The devil is in the details, ladies and gentleman. From the illustrations to the buttons to the background images. Joyent has their bases covered on this baby.
Go ahead and peruse this one. Take some time to look at each different design; they’re all one in the same, but uniquely styled for differentiation between their products. It’s a nice touch and an added bonus for the rest of us.

Well, very good layout and excellent choice of colors.
It’s pure and its original graphics gives potential client good idea of quality service.
In IE6 it has some issues.
This is a great design. The colours work beautifully and the layout is brilliantly functional. Infact, I think that it’s the organization of the content which makes it so beautiful. High quality work here. Visually stunning. Great job.
While I do agree that the colors and illustration make the site aesthetically pleasing, the construction needs to be perfected. On the front page the center graphic is broken from the background. It seems as though it is absolutely position while the background floats.
Try it out. Expand and contract the browser window to see the background shift. Needs some work-
