I love simplistic sites, and that is just what this site is. You look at and see a whole lot of nothing, but you also see a very smooth design. I preach balanced design in a post on my other site, and this is near balanced.
What I dislike:
Where it doesn’t balance out is the colors selected for the text. I realize the author had a serious greyscale theme going on here, but the jet black text is hard on the eyes. In my opinion the ideal color would be a dark grey.
