Media 64

I’m going to be honest with you, the first things I noticed about Media 64 are the problems that I thought it would create. First instance being that some of the text in the header images are actually images. However, after disabling styling and images I found that the important part of that image was properly replaced by the ALT tag, leaving the website still usable and readable.
The second issue I thought I was going to have is when I looked at the code. I immediately noticed that the Document Type was set to HTML 4.01. I figured this would be a problem since I have not seen a site with an HTML 4.01 DOCTYPE that has rendered correctly in cross-browser environments in quite some time. Once again, this turned out not to be a problem.
After I finished snooping around and trying to find a crucial fault, turning up empty handed, I was ready to focus on the design. The layout is quite simple while still maintaining appeal. The choice of colors blend together terrifically on this particular design. Most noticeably, the illustrations which change in the header of every page on the site are just brilliant.
Media 64 is a [tag]website design company[/tag] and they do what a design firm should do with their own website: make it clean, make it work and make it look good without getting to carried away. True, design firms with the fanciest designs for their own sites get a lot of attention, but in the end it are the ones who keep it simple and straight forward who end up getting the bulk of the projects.

Those faceless illustrations freak me out!
Really like the illustrations and colour scheme on this one. The logo sits well too.
Love the illustrations and the colors really bring in a good atmosphere.
I agree, the logo is placed well.
