NACIONAL

NACIONAL

I love seeing submissions coming from Marko. He and web.burza always come strong with their designs. NACIONAL is another example of those with so much CSS skill being able to emulate table-based designs — and doing it better.

Typically when you think of the portal site you think of something with quite a few tables on the page (and hey in some cases that is the easiest way to go about it). But when you are able to take a design format that typically makes heavy usage of tables and do it better than could ever be done using good old fashioned CSS, that is just down right impressive.
Terrific work as per usual.

While I agree that CSS has been put to good effect here in stomping out tables, overall I come away feeling the design is somehow messy to the eye. Perhaps that’s just me though.

Nice, very brave attempt - i cant help thinking tho that this site looks like too many old style news sites - when people like wired are moving along, it would have helped to have though about the design in a progressive manner - GREAT css site tho :)

Nice site. I don’t see many sites on CSS galleries that I like, but this is one of them.

I am amazed that this was done in CSS! What an exercise!
