Yeah I agree — looks like an anti-aliased gif that should have been either a png w/ alpha transparency, or a removed the alias all together. Always like the clean thin site, though!
I agree with you two. However I think that, png with alpha transparency is still a bit delicate to use. Because IE doesn’t support alpha transparency, and unfortunately IE is still widely used.
Also this website won’t render properly in IE, nor in Opera…

I love this site. The skinny layout works really well. My only complain is the border around the navigation. Looks a little jagged.
