Project Rescue

Project Rescue

I try to make sure that the sites in the Gallery have beauty that is more than skin deep. It’s important that not only what they did be inspirational, but also how they did it. I’m making an exception with Project Rescue, though, for three reasons:

  1. The site looks great. I would let it in if it didn’t, just like I won’t let in an ugly site with great code.
  2. The cause is a very noble one, so I’m happy to give them some publicity.
  3. They’re evidently trying to manage the site through a CMS, so I’m betting that they have some severe limitations as to what they can and cannot do.

So don’t bother looking under the hood of this site. I don’t know that there’s anything worthwhile there. The front-end, though, is beautiful and definitely worth a long look.
