What I like:
One of those clean, simple, and straight forward blog things. I love them. However, nothing truly sets it apart from all of the others. But this is common. I did like the content however, one of the few blogs I have read and considered revisiting based upon the content.
What I dislike:
Like I said, pretty basic. Nothing to crazy, but there is only so much you can do with a blog.

I like the typefaces selected. Site-wide, everything seems to match and flow. You are right, very basic, but it does the job well.
