snagt
Sites like Dizzain.com are an easy addition to the Gallery. There are others, though, that I’m more unsure of. Today’s entry, snagt, is one of those.
The homepage didn’t do it for me, but as I dug into the site a handful of things stood out to me. First, the color scheme is unique. Lots of great colors on that dark background, which you don’t see very often. Second, was the design of the Diary. I’m interested to see what it looks like with longer posts and more posts, but it’s a great start. Finally, completely not design related, the last songs she had listened to included some really old ones by The Cure: Three Imaginary Boys, Grinding Halt, Another Day, Fire in Cairo, Killing an Arab. That took me way back and sold me on giving her a shot :)
So now it’s your turn. Does snagt deserve to stay? Remember that votes count, but comments count more.
I think this site is quite unique but very cool. I like how the style of the site resembles the style of the artist. My vote is yes. It is good to have designs out there that are not glimmery and shiny with perfectly rounded corners.
I really like this website, the style is really neat.
the whole set-up might not be the most usable one, but on the other hand, it aint a website for a newspaper or big company. The websites represents the artist in a good way if you ask me!
Like the bird talk area… very fun!
