$1,500 Design Contest

It’s one thing to be able to make your blog look great — blogs are simple. Making a fully functional website look great, on the other hand, is much more difficult. There’s more information to communicate, and more functionality to integrate.
With that in mind, I’m excited to announce our next design contest, in conjunction with Nursing Homes.com. Full details can be found on their site (scroll all the way down on the homepage), but here are the basics:
- All the really good entries will be featured here on Unmatched Style.
- The winner will receive $1,500 in cash.
- You only have to submit images for three pages — no code.
- All entries must be received before July 3.

Is the organization named “Nursing Homes” or “A Place for Mom”? If so, do we need a new logo, too?

Good question. This site will definitely be branded “Nursing Homes.com,” so it will indeed need a basic logo of some sort.

No, only the three images. No coding is involved.
Is this only open for US citizens :D
Not at all. In fact, I think we have at least one non-US entry in the works already.
One more thing is suppose to be designed and coded then we take a screenshot of it. Or are we just suppose to design a mockup in photoshop or fireworks or whatever.
That’s totally up to you. All we need is the images. They can be created however you like.
what are all “the major content pages?” i don’t want to miss any of the links.
You can use Home, About Us, Contact Us and Testimonials for your links.
I thought the most important part of the website was the Directory? Won’t we need a link there?
Maybe, or maybe not. There will be directory links on the homepage that might alleviate the need for a link to the directory in the main navigation.
