The Giveaway: Round #1

Symbolicons are a clean, stylish & unique set of icons that can go a pretty long way in your next design project.

The Giveaway: Round #2

The second part of this is that we’re going to giveaway 3 full sets of the icons. All you have to do is leave us a comment about icons. How you used them in a past project. How much you love working with icons. Tell us if you make icons yourself. Anything Icon related. Let us hear it and we’ll randomly pull 3 winners from the comments!

About The Icons

All the Symbolicons icons are designed by Jory Raphael (@sensibleworld) at Sensible World. Symbolicons are a family of royalty-free vector icons which are very reasonably priced. The icons sets all come in different formats: AI, PDF, EPS, SVG, PSD, CSH* and multiple sizes of PNG. These really are some sharp looking icons IMHO!

Along with the ‘transportation’ set we’ve worked with Jory to get you, you can also go to the symbolicons.com website. Scroll to the bottom and snag two more packs for free.

Thanks Jory!

Actually, to be able to see these icons is almost enough for me, well of course the download is a plus, but you have very good ideas, and the execution is excellent. Sober, clean, neat, almost perfect. Postulant ut populus (What else ask the people).
    Many thanks for sharing.

These are great icons. I like using icons sometimes as neat bullet points that relate to a subject.

There are so many isometric/3D colored icons out there, but these are unique and different. It’s not easy to make a 2D image like this look recognizable and these icons pull it off. I like the subtle drop shadows too. Very well done!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! They’ve been a labor of love, and I’m psyched that people are getting the chance to put them to use!

I’ve just completed a huge update to the full set (adding another 85 icons). Those should be available for purchase soon.

I started incorporating icons into the web pieces at my current job when I was tasked with redesigning a lot of outdated materials. They’re so helpful with creating a better user experience; really help to make content more interesting and meaningful to the user!
