This week we talk about two freshly launched sites. The first is Crush + Lovely @crushlovely, followed by The Omni Group @OmniGroup.
On Crush + Lovely we really love this design. We enjoyed all the various details and interactions on the design. The separations on each page/section are nice too. Then on the Omni Group we like the big imagery and strong icon use. The hierarchy of the pages using just font size is also a well done touch to the design.
What we loved most about both of these websites is that they use regular web safe fonts, the designers feel that the fonts we’ve always had access to are just fine for the purposes of their websites. That’s pretty cool. Not denouncing cufon or @font-face at all but it’s nice to see really well done websites using web safe fonts like this.
